PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of discriminating full charging that can be controlled simply and that makes it possible to discriminate the full charging reliably irrespective of kinds of battery, its condition, its temperature at the start of charging, charging current or ambient temperature. SOLUTION: Battery temperature is sampled every given period of time and the variation of the battery temperature inclination is calculated for every sampling. The full charging is discriminated when the decrease of the variation of the battery temperature inclination is detected after the increase.
