PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can be easily assembled. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal display element 1, a printed circuit board 2, a rubber connector 3 to supply power to them, a holding body 4 to hold the liquid crystal display element 1 located between the liquid crystal display element 1 and the printed circuit board 2 and a retaining member 6 to press the rubber connector 3 to the printed board 2 side via the liquid crystal display element 1 and simultaneously to fix the liquid crystal display element 1 on the printed board 2 via the holding body 4. The holding body 4 is arranged on the printed board 2 side so as to be elastically deformable by mounting the retaining member 6.
