PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner and a mirror surface adjusting device which can eliminate a position shift in the scanning direction of a light beam deflected to scan a scanned surface and make the light beam reach a correct position. SOLUTION: The optical scanner having a light source (1) which emits a light beam, a photodetection member (10) which has the scanned surface photodetecting the light beam, a deflecting means (4) which deflects the light beam to scan the a photodetection member, and mirrors (6, 7, and 8) arranged on the optical path between the light source and photodetection member is equipped with an adjusting meansthe position shift in the scanning direction of the light beamdeflected to scan the scanned surface.
