PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve comparative interpretation performance of radiographic images, as compared with the conventional method in displaying at least two images concerning the same subject to be the object of comparative interpretation of radiographic images. SOLUTION: This image display device 10 provided with a subtraction picture preparing means 14 for extracting the difference between two images P1 and P2 to be the objects of comparative interpretation of images concerning the same subject and an image display surface 11 for displaying a subtraction image, expressing the obtained difference is additionally provided with an image processing means 13, to which the means 14 outputs a reference value 0 when there is no difference between the corresponding pixels of both of the images P1 and P2 and outputs an arithmetic value, except for the reference value 0 when there is a difference between the corresponding pixels, and which replaces an arithmetic value concerning a image smaller than the reference value, to which arithmetic values concerning a lesioned part K which is a substantial difference being the region of interest of the comparative interpretation of radiographic images does not belong, with the reference value 0. |
