The method has:a configuration stage specifying for each indicator to deploy, the data system domains on which each indicator must be deployed. A deployment stage for a specified configuration actuated by an agent called a configuration deployment agent which creates for each resource to be supervised a configuration agent. The latter has as its task the creation of indicator agents for the resource to which it has been allocated by the configuration deployment agent. Each configuration agent creates an agent called indicator deployer for each resource indicator to which it is allocated. This agent determines, for each associated indicator, the different combinations of values for variables for which the indicator is calculated. For all indicators, a indicator compiler generates after analysis of the formula defining the indicator, two object classes (Deployer) and (Indicator) which respectively correspond to indicator deployer agents which deploy the instances of the class to indicator agents which evaluate the indicator.
