THERMAL SHIELDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal shielding method which can circumvent design restriction for a face to be coated. SOLUTION: A composition of thermal shielding coating material is considered to be effective only when coated on a top surface of a coating object. Limited types of coating materials can be chosen especially for articles such as automobile or the likes. Designs (appearances) for those goods play as key factors making it difficult to use the above composition. A face of a coated plate is abutted to a thin sheet having a function reflective to infrared rays, and the face abutting the thin sheet is disposed so that infrared rays do not irradiate the face. Thereby the heat generated on the coated face by incoming infrared rays of the sun permeates through the each coating layer and a base material only to be reflected with the thin plate, not conducting the heat up to the back face of the thin plate.
