PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in an vaporizing combustor in which a combustion is started after a liquid fuel is vaporized, vapor fuel fed in a premixing chamber is condensed to be liquefied at a time of ignition action, and fuel supply to a catalytic combustion part in response to a requested combustion rate is made impossible. SOLUTION: Fuel is fed to a premixing chamber 14 in an amount more than a requested fuel amount suitable to ignition by a control of ECU 40 during the time from an ignition actuation to a combustion stabilization. Thereby even though an evaporated fuel is partly condensed in the chamber 14 and liquefied, the amount of the liquefied content is supplemented by correction of fuel increase. Thus vapor fuel in correspondence with the requested amount is fed to the catalytic combustion part 6, and air-fuel ratio is maintained appropriately, and further the degradation of the ignition performance can also be resolved.
