PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic control system capable of preventing a colliding accident between vehicles within an intersection. SOLUTION: In the traffic control system for preventing the colliding accident between vehicles within the intersection, a range finder 4 is installed at a signal device 3 at the intersection and a device to be ranged 5 is mounted to the vehicle 2 entering the intersection. Then, the finder 4 installed at the signal device 3 measures a distance between 2 vehicle 2 except for its own vehicle approaching the intersection and the signal device 3 and when the vehicle 2 approaches the intersection to a prescribed distance, the finder 4 warns its own vehicle 1.
