PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment transmitting/receiving the picture of a double-face original between a device provided with the reading/printing mechanism of the double-face original and a present device which does not have the mechanism. SOLUTION: A main control part 1 judges whether the picture to be received is the double-face picture or not based on a procedure signal at the time of receiving facsimile, for example. When the reception of the picture of the double face original is judged and the picture of the original for plural pages is to be printed on one face of recording paper, the pictures of the original for plural pages are synthesized into the picture in the size of one face of one recording paper and the picture is printed on one face of recording paper.
