PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paper type automatic vending machine which can efficiently discharge a proper amount of hot water from a hot-water tank. SOLUTION: When key input for pump replacement is done by operating a terminal device 60, hot-water valves 43 and 48 are opened and the hot water in a hot-water tank 5 is reduced to the maximum hot-water amount within a hot-water amount range wherein the hot water does not pass through hot-water pipes 71 and 72. Then an operator only turns off the power source and replaces the pump. After the pump replacement, the operator only turns on the power source. Namely, a vending control part 59 is initialized and a vending part 64 is initially set with a current indication signal.
