HEAT TYPE FLOWMETER WITH STRAIGHTNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat type flowmeter with a straightner which can speedily and accurately detect a break of fluid. SOLUTION: This flowmeter is equipped with a casing member 2 where a 1st part 3 of a fluid flow passage is formed, a flow rate detection unit 4, and a straightner 10 which is fitted below the casing member 2. The straightner 10 is equipped with a vertical cylindrical filter 12 and has a 2nd part 22 of the fluid flow passage passing through the filter 12. The casing member 2 is provided with a tubular member 20 which forms part of the 1st part of the fluid flow passage so that the member 20 extends downward into a center opening of the filter 12. The internal diameter of the part of the tubular member 20 which corresponds to the filter is equal to or larger than the internal diameter of the fluid flow passage at the part corresponding to the flow rate detection unit 4 and the tubular member 20 extends into the filter center opening to length which is >=1/3 time as large as the height of the filter 12.
