<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system, with which the amount of data to be transmitted from a client to a server is reduced at the time of transmitting electronic mail. SOLUTION: When a message ID for identifying the mail data of a transmitting object is transmitted from a client 1 and the transmission of electronic mail is requested, a user mail reference processing part 5 retrieves the mail data of the transmitting object out of mail data preserved in a mail box 3 on the basis of the message ID transmitted by the client 1 and transmits these retrieved mail data to a transmitting mail processing part 4 and the transmitting mail processing part 4 prepares electronic mail based on the mail data transmitted by the user mail reference processing part 5 and transmits this prepared electronic mail so that the amount of data to be transmitted from the client 1 can be reduced.</p> |
