PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously transfer data and to realize a multi-channel network, in a form which hardly receives the mutual influence of another channel by connecting two points, i.e., a transmission source and a reception source by a form which is logically close to exclusive connection in accordance with a data type such as a document, a voice or a moving picture when relaying branching and copying exist and assigning physically individual channels to every data type concerning the multi-channel network, including telephone line or the exchange of moving picture data, etc. SOLUTION: A server 21 is connected to personal computers PC1-PC4, which are a plurality of clients by cables b-e, and the PC1-PC4 are connected to button telephone sets T1-T4 connected to PC1-PC-4 by cables j-m. Moreover, different paired lines are used for every channel in the cables b-e and the channel of communication data for PC is made to be different from that of the voice data of the telephone set, so that the voice interrupt of voice data or adverse effects to communication data are prevented. Moreover, the cables are easily managed and the cost is reduced in this system.
