PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic processing device which enables an operator to carry out contact print work without the occurrence of useless consumption of photographic paper while reducing the burden on the operator. SOLUTION: This photographic processing device has a transporting path 6 for transporting the photographic paper P and an exposure section 3 disposed in mid-way of this transporting path 6 in a machine body 1 and is constituted to enable the operator to place a film F already subjected to development processing in proximity to the photographic paper P on the exposure section 3 and to carry out the rush print. The device described above has a control means 9 for controlling the operation in such a manner that the photographic paper P is automatically transported to a shielding chamber 12 shielded from external light by the completion of the exposure processing in the exposure section 3 in the rush print processing work and that the photographic paper P not subjected to the exposure processing is automatically returned to a photographic storage chamber 2.
