PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency sorting apparatus for crystal oscillator, which prevents adverse effects due to static electricity and by which a frequency is surely sorted. SOLUTION: In this frequency sorting apparatus for a crystal oscillator, an oscillation frequency according to the thickness is detected, and crystal pieces are sorted. The sorting apparatus is constituted of a palette 26, on which the crystal pieces are separated individually so as to be housed. The sorting apparatus is constituted of a suction and transfer device 23, which sucks the crystal pieces from the palette 26 to be transferred and in which a suction nozzle 6 is formed to be porous. The sort apparatus is constituted of a rotating plate 30, in which holding holes 32 for the crystal pieces to be transferred from the suction and transfer device 23 are provided in the outer circumference, in which a detection electrode rod 31 is brought into contact from both main face sides and in which the oscillation frequency of the crystal pieces is detected. The sorting apparatus is constituted of a suction and sorting device 25, in which the crystal pieces on the sorting plate 30 are sucked so as to be sorted into a sorting box 33, according to the oscillation frequency of the crystal pieces. In the vacuum suction device which comprises the suction nozzle 6, whose suction and separation can be changed over by a vacuum-suction and air-sending changeover mechanism, the suction nozzle 6 is constituted to be porous.
