PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic domain wall displacement detection type super high density information recording body capable of realizing a land/groove recording, enhancing the track density, forming a recording mark showing that magnetic walls adjacent to each other have separate magnetic domains without complicating the manufacturing stage and keeping a constant width between formed mark columns independently of the information pattern even if information is recorded in a heat mode by a simple recording system. SOLUTION: The surface of a recording film formed on a substrate provided with inclined parts having surfaces non-parallel to the surface of an information track on the both sides of the information track is sputter etched by accelerated ions made incident in a direction perpendicular to the substrate and the recording film on the inclined parts is preferentially etched and removed by utilizing dependence of the sputtering rate on the incident angle of ions and the recording film on the surface of the information track is made to remain as it is. |
