PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the temperature drift of gyro output in no rotation of an oscillator in an oscillatory gyroscope having the oscillator, a driving means, a detecting means and a package. SOLUTION: In this oscillatory gyroscope 1A, spaces PA and PB between a pair of mutually opposed inner wall surface 1a and 1b of the package 2 are set so as not to correspond to integral times the wavelength of the sound wave propagating in the atmosphere in an internal space 3 even at any temperature within a prescribed temperature range. According to this, the resonance phenomenon of the atmosphere in the internal space 3 can be suppressed to minimize the temperature change of gyro output in no rotation. |
