PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor which can perform accurate positional detection with the output waveform of a Hall element kept favorably, and can quicken the rise at start up and besides can perform control without fail. SOLUTION: In a brushless motor, in which a rotor yoke 10 which is mounted with a plurality of permanent magnets being made in ring form, with their N poles and S poles arranged alternately when viewed from the axis and also with their polarity changed in diametrical direction and a stator core 6 are combined coaxially and which is driven, detecting the magnetic flux from the permanent magnet 11 with a Hall element 12 arranged in the vicinity of the permanent magnet 11, the rotor yoke 10 is made of nonmagnetic material, and also the Hall elements 12 are mounted in the opposite position from the stator core 6, along the diametrical direction from the boundary 13 of the polarity of the permanent magnet 11.
