PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate erroneous judgment of a user that a separate multi-type air conditioner has failed because the indoor unit has stopped when a secondary operation mode of the air conditioner is in heterogeneous operation mode by notifying the operating condition correctly to the user. SOLUTION: In the indoor unit of a separate multi-type air conditioner, an indicating means indicates a heterogeneous operation mode when the indoor unit has stopped because a secondary operation commands a heterogeneous operation mode.
