PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine which assures excellent water- tight characteristic and easier loading or unloading and also includes a bearing cover allowing recycling. SOLUTION: This rotating electric machine 1 has a bearing housing 11a which is formed at the center of a rear frame 11. A bearing 41 for pivotally supporting a rotor shaft 21 and a bearing cover 51 for sealing the bearing 41 from the rear side are sequentially sealed within the bearing housing 11a. The bearing cover 51 is an integrated mold made of rubber consisting of a hollow cylinder 51a, a plurality of annular projected portions 51c formed at the external circumference of such cylinder and a bottom 51b for sealing the rear of the hollow cylinder 51a. The cross-section of each annular projection 51c is a triangular shape sloping to the rear side, and the external edge of the annular projection 51c is placed in close contact with the internal circumference surface of the bearing housing 11a to provide excellent water-proof characteristics. Moreover, since the bearing cover 51 is made of rubber, it can be loaded and unloaded to and from the bearing housing 11a to assure recycling.
