PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satisfactory equalization even if fluctuation of transmission line is large in a reception burst. SOLUTION: The delay elements 2 of an FF filter 9, to which reception signals S1 are inputted, are connected to weighting units 3 through a tap constituting control switch 8 and are inputted to an adder 4. The output of the adder 4 is inputted to an identifier 5 and it becomes the equalized output S2. The equalized output S2 is inputted to the delay elements 7 of an FB filter 10. The delay elements 7 are connected to the weighting units 3 through the tap constituting control switch 8 and are inputted to the adder 4. The tap constituting control switch 8 on/off-controls tap constitution. A tap coefficient monitor part 11 monitors the respective tap coefficients of the weighting units 3. When equalization by tap constitution which is set at first becomes impossible, equalization is executed again from the first reception signal and a waveform is equalized. An impulse response estimation unit 12 estimates the impulse response of the transmission line from the reception signal and equalized output S2.
