PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material processable in a short time and having improved color reproducibility and sharpness even in short-time processing. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material with one red-, green- and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on the substrate, the emulsion layer contains at least 50-100 mol% high silver chloride emulsion and at least one layer has a compound of the formula Cp-(L)n-B [where Cp is the residue of a yellow coupler which releases -(L)n-B by reaction with the oxidized body of a developing agent; L is a divalent combining group or a timing group; B is a group required to form a magenta image in the state of Cp-(L)n-B before development; -(L)n-B released by coupling reaction is a group which does not substantially contribute to image formation after development; and (n) is 0 or 1].
