PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink for improving cooling efficiency. SOLUTION: The heat sink is provided with a base plate 2, a plurality of thin-plate-shaped plate fins 3 being arranged at the base plate 2, and a fin cover 6 where an introduction opening A in that cooling air is introduced and an exhaust opening B in that cooling air is unloaded are formed. The plate fin 3 is arranged at the base plate 2 while being located toward the inside from the introduction opening A, and a guide surface 7A being tilted from the outermost end to the inside is formed at the end of the introduction opening A of the fin cover 6. And, the guide surface 7A is provided with cutting where the end of the plate fin 3 is inserted.
