PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a magnet and a mold for molding a magnet by which magnetic powder can be oriented efficiently, using a simple structure. SOLUTION: A circular magnet 2 for multi-polar orientation, comprised of a plurality of magnets 2a and 2b for orientation whose adjoining magnetic poles are different from each other, is arranged on the inner circumference of a cavity 1, and a ring-like core 4 made of magnetic material is arranged on the outer circumference of the cavity 1, and then a multi-polar oriented magnetic field is formed in the cavity 1, and a magnet is formed while orienting a magnetic powder made of Sm-Fe-N alloy in a resin magnet composition.
