The single direction acoustic probe has piezoelectric transducers (Ti) at the surface of an interconnection network (Ri). The transducer is connected to a command mechanism. A first series of acoustic adaptors (L1i) on the transducer surface are conductors and have a thin conductor layer connecting to the interconnection network provide an earth path for the surface conductors.
