PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writable optical disk that can improve the recording capacity in comparison with a conventional disk and can obtain prepit signals having good C/N. SOLUTION: In the writable optical disk having grooves and lands, land prepits including address information of the optical disk are recorded in a land with a constant linear velocity while alternatively switched between an EVEN pattern and an ODD pattern having a 180 degree phase difference with respect to the EVEN pattern whenever the land prepits almost overlap with the land prepits recorded in lands adjacent to each other interposing a groove between them as shown in Figure 2 (B). |
