<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous type memory device and its continuous read-out method which can perform continuous read-out operation with a single word mode. SOLUTION: A synchronous type memory device having a single word mode is composed of a word decoding circuit in which a word signal is latched in a non-volatile section of an internal clock signal having a clock cycle being faster than a clock cycle corresponding to the prescribed CAS latency by two clock cycle after input of a read-out instruction in read-out operation of the single word mode, and generating a selecting signal of a complementary logic state responding to the latched word signal and a mode selecting signal, and a selecting circuit and receiving data corresponding to a column selected by the column selecting circuit, responding to the selecting signal, and transmitting lower-order/higher-order data out of the above data to an output buffer circuit continuously.</p> |
