<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make specifiable and confirmable a backup printer in a printer in an output-disabled state in a system consisting of plural printers. SOLUTION: This printer 20 is constituted by providing a display means 21, a data storage means 22, a printer information acquiring means 23, a backup printing destination deciding means 24 and a data transfer means 25. A specified printer A in an output-disabled state stores received output data in a data storage means 22, displays errors on a status display part 21a and acquires information regarding all other printers 20 via the printer information acquiring means 23. The backup printing destination deciding means 24 decides the backup printer on the basis of prescribed conditions, displays the backup printer on a backup printing destination display part 21b, reads the output data from the data storage means 22 and transfers the output data to the backup printer via the data transfer means 25.</p> |
