<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time stamp offset adjusting method and its device, by which an offset value to be added to a time stamp is automatically adjusted by a transmission window value, in a high-speed serial bus packet conversion system. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an adding part for generating a time stamp value, by adding the offset value obtained to consider data delay time and jitter amount to a data division size of cycle time value, a memory for storing inputted data by the time stamp by packet unit, a window-generating part for predicting the time stamp value generated in the adding part and deciding a transmission time range, and a control part for adding the time stamp generated in the adding part, detecting an overflow generated in the memory owing to a difference between reading and writing timings, while outputting packet unit data stored in the memory, and then, adjusting the offset value.</p> |
