摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set up the lost motion correction value of a hybrid control type machine tool without requiring an especially accurate measuring machine. SOLUTION: In the lost motion correction value setting method of the hybrid control type machine tool for controlling a position loop by using both of a machine position signal outputted from a position detection scale 9 for detecting a machine position and a motor position signal outputted from a rotary encoder 7 for detecting the rotational angle of a feed driving servo motor, the machine position signal outputted from the scale 9 and the motor position signal outputted from the encoder 7 are periodically inputted by executing a test program, a difference between the machine position signal and the motor position signal is calculated to find out an error and a difference between the forward side average value of the error and the backward side average value of the error is calculated and stored in a lost motion correction value storing part 19 as a dynamic lost motion correction value.
