PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an image at a higher speed. SOLUTION: When no data exists in a buffer memory 103b in the case of start of development of plotting data for every band, data for set output size is supplied to a printer 2 and the remaining data is supplied to the buffer memory 103b. On the other hand, when the data exist and processing time is longer than a reference processing time, the data for the set output size are supplied from the buffer memory 103b to the printer 2. And, when the data exist in the buffer memory 103b in the case of completion of development of the plotting data for every band, all pieces of the remaining data of in the buffer memory 103b are supplied to the printer 2. When the supplied data quantity is larger than outputtable size, the remaining data in a band memory 103a are stored in the buffer memory 103b.
