PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a gradation phenomenon in a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In each of plural horizontal scanning periods set in a vertical fly-back period, a correction voltage is to be sequentially applied to each unit of plural column electrode blocks, and the frequency of applying the correction voltage in plural units increases as going from one end to the other of each row electrode.
