PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station device and a wireless access system that can recognize properness of an installed position of the base station device and also recognize a proper environment of the base station device in the system so as to be able to make the wireless communication environment proper. SOLUTION: Since the base station device and the wireless access system measure a reception electric field strength by each frequency while changing the frequency and detect the presence of an interference wave in a received radio wave with each frequency so as to recognize properness of the base station device and inform the result of a management center 4, the properness of the installed position of the base station device 2 can easily be discriminated and the management center 4 can easily grasp whether or not the environment of the base station device 2 is proper.
