PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a very large load is placed on a CPU when a three-dimensional figure is rotated by using three-dimensional data. SOLUTION: A reference scale where a reference surface showing the reference surface of a three-dimensional projection and a reference axis showing a reference direction are represented with characters or figures and a plane or solid figure of an object to be rotated are displayed on a display. In this state, the respective planes of the plane or solid figure of the object and respective reference planes corresponding to them are related. After they are related, one specific or more reference axes on the reference scale as axes of rotation for rotating the solid figure of the object and an angle of rotation are inputted. Consequently, an arithmetic means plots and displays a solid figure corresponding to the reference planes of the reference scale after the rotation on the display.
