PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal adaptor, that can relieve a load of a manual operation in the case of channel connection to an arbitrary communication network among communication networks served by a plurality of phone communication enterprises contracted by a user, and connect an exchange and the terminal adaptor using a simple connection procedure. SOLUTION: This terminal adaptor 10 is provided with a transmission reception control section 17, that controls communication between a user terminal 20 and an opposite terminal connected to a channel of the terminal adaptor through any selected communication network among communication networks served by a plurality of telephone communication enterprises, with which the user makes contract and with a memory 19 that stores a table denoting an exchange identification number to designate an exchange provided respectively in the communication networks. The transmission reception control section 17 selects any of communication networks, in response to the manual input of a destination telephone number and reads and transmits the exchange identification number, corresponding to the selected communication network from a table stored in the memory 19.
