PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely evaluate a traveling road surface noise on the basis of the road surface shape. SOLUTION: A noise amplitude count processing of counting the road surface irregularities highly correlative with traveling road surface noise on the basis of the road surface amplitude data stored in a data memory part is performed in step 40. The noise level is evaluated on the basis of the count number by the processing in step 42. The road surface temperature data stored in the data memory part is read in step 44, and the evaluated noise level is corrected on the basis of the road surface temperature data in step 46.
