PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking appliance to facilitate even such a food to be cooked as cracked open by heating. SOLUTION: A cover body 7 having an opening part 4 formed in an openable state is rotatably supported at a body case 2 having an internal partitioned into a cooking chamber 3 and having an approximately box-form reflection body 5 with an opening part 4 opened in a front. A plurality of heaters 18 are disposed in the cooking chamber 3 and placing table 11 placing a food to be cooked thereon is disposed. A drive part 38 provided on an output shaft 39 with a drive transmission member 40 is disposed at one of the outside of the reflection body 5. An oblong bearing hole 15 slidably fitted in a shaft 27 of a container 23 formed approximately in a cylindrical shape at a net-form member is situated at a side plate part 5a on the drive part 38 side of the reflection body 5 and in a position situated opposite to the tip of the drive transmission member 40 from the vicinity or the opening part 4. The shaft 27 is fitted in the end part on the opening part 4 side of the bearing hole 15 and moved to a position situated deep in the cooking chamber 3, and a container 23 is moved toward the drive part 38 and coupled to the drive transmission member 40. The container 23 is easily mounted.
