摘要 An arrangement (1,1a) for electrical power supply with a superconducting magnet (5a) as energy store (5) in a cooling area (4) and which is joined to a power converter (6) so that the energy store can be short-circuited via at least one switchable, semiconductor diode (thyristor) (12) of the converter, to form a free-wheel path (15). In the cooling room (4) the free wheel path (15) is arranged with the diode (thyristor) (12) and outside of the cooling room a rapid discharge device (32) joined to the power converter (6) is provided for discharging the energy store during faulty functioning of the energy store (5).
