<p>The invention concerns a method and a device (4) for controlling a chopping AC-AC type electric power converter with feeding a load impedance capable of having an inductive component through a first double-control two-way switch, a second switch being provided at the terminals of the load in free wheel . Each switch comprises a pair of switch controls arranged head-to-tail. The converter switches between conductive and off state. The method consists in continuously determining the direction of the current (3) flowing in the load. Sequences of signals selectively controlling the switch controls of the switches (VC0, VC1, VD0 VD1) are generated from said determination of the current direction and of the chopping control signals (VPWM) of the alternating supply voltage. The generation of control signals (VC0, VC1, VD0, VD1) is ensured by a microcontroller or a microprocessor (40).</p> |
