<p>A device for enabling staplers (10) to staple documents (9) e.g. magazines, which are too wide to fit in a stapler in normal use consists of two parallel plates, the top one (1) of which can slide up and down a guide (4) and has a gap (6) into which the end of a stapler (8) can fit. The lower plate (1) has a conventional stapler receiving indentation (7). In use the stapler (8) is unhinged to open it up and the end is placed in the gap (6) in the upper plate (2), the object (9) to be stapled is placed between the plates and the stapler (8) pressed down in the conventional way.</p> |
