A process for producing a salt of either cyanobenzylamine or a derivative thereof which comprises reacting the cyanobenzylamine or its derivative with an acid. By the process, a salt of either cyanobenzylamine or a derivative thereof can be industrially produced easily. The salt has a high bulk specific gravity.
