PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup type automatic vending machine which can supply high-temperature hot water to an extractor at the start of the extraction of drink. SOLUTION: When an article select button of a customer operation part 63 is pressed, a customer operation control part 58 generates and sends an external interruption request signal to a main control part 54. A vending control part 59 when supplied with an indication signal for vending extracted coffee drink from the main control part 54 opens an extracted hot-water valve 20 and makes low-temperature hot water, staying in a 1st hot water pipe 15, flow back to a hot-water tank 19 through a 2nd hot-water pipe 19. This operation is repeated for 3 seconds and the temperature of the hot water in a 1st hot-water pipe 15 rises up almost to the temperature in the hot-water tank 5. Then the extracted hot-water valve 20 is closed and the hot water in the hot-water tank 5 is supplied to the extractor 26 through the 1st hot-water tank 15 while applied with pressure by a pump 12. Consequently coffee drink of a very slight decrease in hot-water temperature can be extracted.
