PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data correcting system, with which errors in the instruction of correction can be reduced easily like handwriting, concerning the image data correcting system for transmitting/receiving images through a communication line as data. SOLUTION: This system has a first converting means for converting image data to the data of a PDF format, first transmitting means for transmitting the data of the PDF format through the communication line, receiving means for receiving the data of the PDF format transmitted by the transmitting means, image display means for displaying the images of the image data from the data of the PDF format received by the receiving means, correcting means for preparing correction data while referring to the images displayed on the image display means, corrected data preparing means for preparing corrected data from the data of the PDF format received by the receiving means and the correction data prepared by the correcting means, second converting means for converting the corrected data to the data of the PDF format, and second transmitting means for transmitting the data of the PDF format converted by the second converting means.
