PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the throughput of an entire system by preventing the eccentricity of a load or overload from occurring between servers. SOLUTION: In a load distribution processor a client/server system, in which plural clients 1a and 1b and plural servers 2a and 2b are connected through a network and processing requests from the plural clients are processed while being distributed by plural servers, the server has preferential server assignment information for determining the destination to assign the load when the load for each of servers is almost equal, and the client determines the server of the connection destination on the basis of the preferential server assignment information.
