The microphone module has a microphone capsule (2) and an associated pre-amplifier circuit board (4) enclosed by a screening shell (6), fitting over the pre-amplifier components (8) mounted on one side of the circuit board and soldered to a metalization layer (12) on the opposite side of the circuit board. The part of the microphone capsule projecting above the latter side of the circuit board is provided with a metalized screening (14) coupled to the metalization layer at its rear.
