PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for formatting, recording, and reproducing data for a Karaoke are provided to exclude the necessity of separate synchronous control of two data streams by multiplexing at least two sort of streams for an even in a single pack and to smoothly connect sounds even if a user select another stream while a specific stream is reproduced. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for formatting, recording, and reproducing data for a Karaoke comprises a first packet header adder(110), a second packet header adder(120), and a multiplexer(130). The packet adders output first and second packet data. The multiplexer multiplexing the data in a pack and transmits the packet data. In a pack, two packets are included. Each packet has an ID(identifier). In a first packet, first linear PCM(Pulse Coded Modulation) data are stored. In a second packet, second linear PCM data of which frame number is the same as that of the first linear PCM data are stored. As each packet is composed of a frame unit, access is simple and two data streams are synchronized easily.
