<p>Methodologies for modifying micro-organisms, particularly to enable the control of micro-organisms, comprising introducing into a target micro-organism a vector comprising an antisense form of the whole or part of one or more target genes normally found in that micro-organism whereby upon infection of the micro-organism by the vector and expression of the antisense form of that gene or part gene in the host, translation of the target gene is prevented or inhibited and the properties of the micro-organisms thereby modified enabling control.</p> |
