NONCONTACT POSITION SENSOR

A noncontact position sensor comprises a magnetic circuit consisting of at least one magnet and a magnetically continuous magnetic member, at least one magnetic detector arranged in the magnetic circuit, and an object placed in the magnetic circuit. The noncontact position sensor detects the change in the output from the magnetic detector due to the rotation or displacement of the object placed in the magnetic circuit, thus detecting the angle of rotation and the position of the object.
