[Also in Divisions B2, B6, C3, C4-C5, and Dl] A veneer board is dipped in a solution of a formaldehyde-urea condensation resin, the solution having dissolved therein a chromogenbonded acrylamide-methyl acrylate copolymer. Also, a solution of the condensation resin is applied over wooden boards. After air-drying the veneer and boards are laminated by pressing at 130‹ C. and 1500 lb./inch<SP>2</SP> to produce a coloured laminated board (see Example 63).
