The present invention relates to an impression jig assembly for coupling to a bone implant (10) comprising: a split sleeve having co-axial upper and lower sleeve members (31, 32); and a fixing screw (5) for clamping the split sleev e to the implant. The fixing screw in use passes through the split sleeve, and can be withdrawn once impression material has hardened around the assembly t o allow the upper sleeve member to separate from the lower sleeve member.
